Thank You for Visiting, Please Come Back!
Fellow Citizens of Northeastern Pennsylvania, I would like to present myself as a Candidate to be your Congressman for the 11th District of Pennsylvania. As you know, this seat is currently held by Representative Paul Kanjorski of Nanticoke, Pennsylvania. I will be running as a Democrat against Paul Kanjorski and others in the Primary Election on May 18, 2010.
I am proud to say that--but for a few years--I would be a lifetime Democrat, and a lifetime resident of Northeastern PA. Right after I earned my Bachelor of Science from King's College at the age of 21, I competed in a tough job market, and was hired to work as a Systems Engineer at IBM in Utica, New York. For two years, I lived in Utica as a registered Independent.
My dad, a lifetime Democrat, was a very conservative and good man. He was a staunch believer in the importance of Labor Unions. He worked as a laborer at Stegmaier Brewery on "Brewery Hill" in Wilkes-Barre until the

Is Our Government Trying to Kill US?
-------
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
Elizabeth Barrett Browning (1806-1861) --------- Is this not the same message being delivered today by our magnanimous and beneficent Congress and our beloved, sometimes besmirched President? Are we not continually reassured that they love us, perhaps even more than we love ourselves. They know what is right for us. They are smart people and we should listen to them! They will take care of us because they know what we need and we do not. They meet behind closed doors so that we are spared knowing how dumb we really are. They are just protecting us if only we knew. But then again, "No one knows what goes on behind closed doors!"
Ladies and gentlemen, the paragraph above is the essence of progressivism. If we were not so dumb, we would know that and we would know that our elite leaders do what they must against our will because they know, left on our own we would do something dumb.

Are you pleased with the economy, job prospects, the pospect of a full government takeover of healthcare, indoctrination of our youth to serve the ego of an out of control President, a huge energy tax defended by the global warming hoax, bank bailouts, auto-industry takeovers, huge deficits, loss of prestige in the world, tacit diregard for the real threat of terrorism, and fifty other things that have the potential to make your blood boil? If you are pleased, then you are one of a few that continues to get smaller in number.
The people of this good country are waking up and finding out our country is in the process of being taken over by an eloquent speaker with 40 czars, and a complicit congress who are assisting in the takeover.

Did We Really Need Change? |

Do We Really Need Change?
In a word, "yes." We needed change from a number of the policies of the Bush Administration. All ills are not Obama ills though most of the deadly ones definitely are. Whether George Bush was really bad or not is debatable but the Country surely was suffering from Bush fatigue and Bush. Eight years or so earlier, the country suffered the same malady with Clinton fatigue. Nobody, in either the Bush or Clinton Administrations made it seem like it was a good idea for the government to get more active. Nobody asked the government to begin to control everything. We did not need that kind of change. From unimportant things such as big taxes on juice and soft drinks and small pleasure items to one ply toilet paper instead of two-ply to more serious matters such as no Mammograms for women over 40. The new ObamaCzars and socialist bureaucrats have been changing the US to what Russia was before President Reagan ordered the big wall torn down. Most people cannot believe it. So the people don't wake up an find Obama and the 11th Congress in their socks, their underwear, their private items, and their bank accounts, this administration and Congress are hurrying to get the job done before anybody notices that our freedom is gone. That is not the change anybody was looking for. It is my party, the Democrats, who have done all this to us and it is time to replace all of the corrupt Democrats in Congress with real people. I have to believe that deep down the Democrats in Congress want to make everybody's life better. They just are not showing it too well. I do not think that any Democrat is for undermining the country or making America weak? Yet that is what they are doing to us. It is happening before our eyes and it is one of the big things I want to change. If you don't see it, then permit me to admonish you of one thing, "Please pay attention, our freedom is on the line." As bad as the Bush Administration was reported by the low-ratings media to have been, ole Bush and company never tried to stifle our lives with massive regulations and massive taxes. Bush may have wanted and may have gotten his but he was not trying to take yours. Bush never declared human exhale a noxious and hazardous gas. The hard left--should never be in public office again-- Democrats have been plain silly since they took control and we need to bring sense back into Congress. Additionally, I do not recall Bush and his cronies changing things so that extreme Muslim Terrorists ever found America an easy target. Yet, this is precisely what the party in charge and the "new" President have done. This group of bad actors have done so bad that I am embarrassed to be a Democrat. Many Democrats and other Americans, including myself are looking at the Bush days as the good old days. That's how inept our 111th Congress has been and our President's worldwide apology tour has not helped our image at all. "I'm sorry" may have made the day for Connie Francis but it is destroying the notion of American Strength." My candidacy to win the Democrat nomination as you might suspect is not endorsed by the established Party Leaders because they would like to give you more of the same corruption and misuse of the people's treasury. My candidacy is the right medicine for the Democratic people of NEPA, not necessarily the "go with the flow Democratic leadership." I do not expect any established politicians to get up any day soon to give a speech that heralds my choosing to run for office. In fact, I am tickled about that. I would be worried otherwise. It's time for all hard left Democrats to be called home and to be replaced by better Democrats. As hard as it is to say, even the Republicans in Congress have done a better job over this last year than the Democrats. Democrats have become Socialists, Marxists, Fascists, while calling themselves Progressives. Most of the people of Northeastern Pennsylvania will have nothing to do with that . That's why they like me as a candidate. I offer a no politics approach to government and I think the people understand that quite well. They are looking for change they can live with. The Administration with hard left Democrats in charge have abandoned the American people and along with the 11th Congress with Democrats in charge, they continue to siphon the American Treasury to make it more comfortable for trespassers in our country than citizens, Why do the foreign nationals who sneak into the US have more rights than US and how is it they benefit from our bounty more than our own citizens. I regret to say that Democrats today in Congress have become un-American. That is not the change anybody asked for and it is time to send them home and to clean up the Democratic party. It starts at Home. No incumbent who does not espouse the 76 Regrets on this site should be elected. I had been looking for a wholesale 435 representatives exiting but at Tea Parties, I have seen that there are those who still have America at heart. There are not many Democrats in their lot, unfortunately. That's why we need more Democrats and even more Republicans but very few of the same. The Founders never expected the people to vote scoundrels back in office. We are smarter than to ever do that again. And, while we are doing that, maybe we can clean up the Democratic Party so the people no longer fear it!

Subject: CATCHING WILD PIGS!!!
This is another of those emails that may or may not be totally true that conjures up a fear in me enough to be willing to leave my wonderful nest in Wilkes-Barre PA and go to Washington to help keep us all free. Here is the email story that you may very well have seen. This is an important message.

Hello Fellow District 11 Constituents
Thank you for being here.
I am running for Congress for the 11th District seat in the State of Pennsylvania.
This site is continually being perfected so that it will be more meaningful to you as time passes.
I have built the site myself. One of the objectives in my campaign is to prove that a regular citizen can run for Congress without going broke. I will not take any campign donations so that nobody has a claim on me and also so that my neighbors do not have to go broke because they want me to represent them.
Nothing is ever as good as we would like it to be. I hope this site has the right mix of humor (hopefully it will make you smile) and information. I also hope that it helps you gain a perspective of me as your potential representative as I try to reflect the values and opinions that I will bring to Congress if I am fortunate enough that you and many more favor me with your vote.
The best!

That is a really tough question! For all NEPA citizens, I offer you my not-yet-and-hopefully-never-politicized promise to work for you, period. I will work in the same fashion that I have expected representatives of the past to work for all of us. I will work so that your opinion will count. I am not hopeful to be a career politician. Actually besides an early death, it is the last thing I want. There is only one thing that I can do to fulfill this promise. I will not run in 2014. I will consider 2012. Don't even bother reading my lips, I would be happy to scream it at the top of my lungs. I plan to be back in the fold in NEPA in two to four years depending on what we get done in the next two years. I originally said just two years but it may take as long as four years so that we can assure a new president. The worst that happens to me by running for this office is that you may want someone else. If you find that person, I won't even run. I want that somebody else also. All of us want an honest representative for the people. I hope to be that representative but I am just as willing for it to be that somebody else. If I am sure we have another guy, I am fine with letting George do it. Just in case I am available and right now, it looks like I am the best choice in May and in November. I owe it to all to tell you about myself, and that I shall do.
